Our local chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America is brand new and, at last month’s meeting, we were asked to make ourselves name tags to wear at future meetings to help everyone be able to put names with faces. Finished in the nick of time for this week’s meeting, here’s what I made:

It’s funny how when I feel burned out on embroidery, taking a hiatus of a week or less is all I need before I’m chomping at the bit to have a needle and floss in my hands again!!

I stitched this cute lass onto rectangel’s apron for the Craftster Tea Towel Tour 5 swap.
The design came from Stitchin’ Retro, by Leisure Arts. The design is drawn so that all of the lines don’t connect with each other, and I can’t tell you how difficult it was for me to not connect the lines!! [...]
